Privacy policy
This site is a comparison of Seine dinner cruises in Paris, nothing more. There are no accounts to create, no forms to fill in, and no checkout. Whatever you read here, you read anonymously.
The little this site collects
One kind of information is gathered, and it is anonymous. The measurement here records page views at a rough, grouped level: how many people opened the page comparing the Bateaux Parisiens gourmet cruise with the Bateaux Mouches live-music option, whether more readers clicked through to the classic three-course dinner or the champagne and DJ cruise, and the general region and device type a visit came from. It answers practical questions. Did the price table for the twelve cruises actually get used? Did the notes on Port de la Bourdonnais and Pont de l'Alma departures help anyone plan? It cannot answer who you are, because that is never the question. No email address, name, or card number is collected anywhere on this site. There is no booking form, so there is no payment detail to mishandle, and no account, so there is no password to lose.
Third-party scripts
The analytics tool used here sets a small number of its own cookies to count visits. Any embedded map loads directly from its provider as the page renders, and that provider applies its own privacy policy to whatever it records, not this one.
A click on a cruise listing takes you to the live booking page, where the operator's own systems take over and set their own cookies. Those belong to the booking platform, not to this site, and its privacy policy governs them. The same applies to any operator site reached from here, whether that is Bateaux Parisiens, Le Diamant Bleu or Ducasse sur Seine. The disclosure page sets out who pays what and when.
What never happens here
- Sell, rent or share your data with third parties.
- Run advertising networks, retargeting pixels or trackers that follow you across other websites.
- Ask for your email address. There is no newsletter here and no list of subscribers anywhere.
- Take a payment, hold a table on a Seine dinner cruise or place you on a passenger manifest. Every seat, from the $68.53 Bistronomic cruise to the $277.47 Ducasse sur Seine dinner, is reserved on the operator's own booking page under their terms.
- Operate a contact form that routes through this site's servers. The contact page gives a plain email address instead, so a message goes straight from your own mail provider to the inbox, with no form processor sitting in between.
Hosting
This site is delivered through Cloudflare, whose network keeps routine server logs containing IP addresses for security and abuse filtering. Nobody looks through those logs trying to profile or name individual readers.
Your choices
Tracking protection, a script blocker or a private window will neutralize the analytics here, and no page depends on them. Everything from the classic-casual cruise listings to the Maxim's dinner cruise description renders with JavaScript switched off. Prefer to skip this site altogether? The disclosure page names every operator directly, so you can book with Bateaux Parisiens, Compagnie des Bateaux Mouches or Paris en Scène without passing through here at all.
Questions left unanswered? Send an email. The disclosure page handles the commercial side.
