Why this site exists

Twelve dinner cruises cover the same stretch of the Seine in three formats. Each card carries a US-dollar from-price taken from its listing, running from $67.37 to $277.47, plus a rating and review count read on separate passes. Making the differences between those listings legible is the entire job of this site.

What this site compares, and why

This site compares dinner cruises. It does not operate them. There is no boat, no crew, no ticket desk and no reservation system of any kind. Every purchase happens on the operator's own listing, where the voucher, boarding details and cancellation terms live. Nobody here can hold a table, move a date or process a refund.

The reader it is written for has a few nights in Paris and wants to give one of them to the Seine. That reader is usually juggling two or three browser tabs in which the descriptions read nearly word for word. Duration alone tells you little, since dinner on the water can mean 1 hour 45 minutes on one listing and 3 hours on another, and the longer night is not automatically the better one. A three-course dinner might mean a plated gourmet menu with live music, or it might mean a bistronomic seat where the meal is simpler and the price much lower. A page that repeats the phrase without unpacking it has told you nothing you could not have read yourself.

The other questions this reader is weighing are practical. A dinner cruise is reserved seating with a fixed menu, not a walk-on sightseeing boat, so disruptions matter more: when the Seine runs high, sailings can be affected, and the honest answer about what happens to your table is on the FAQ page rather than buried. Dress code is a real question too, since a bistronomic cruise and a Maxim's evening with live music are not the same event, and the listings are not always explicit. This site treats both as booking-trust questions worth answering straight.

Independence is what earns your attention here. Each page reports what an operator's listing states: the from-price, the duration where one is given, the menu format, and the rating with its review count. No dinner-cruise operator paid for placement, and none was offered a better position. Every figure on a card traces back to the live booking page it came from, so you can confirm anything yourself.

How the twelve cruises were read

Each of the twelve listings was opened on its own booking page and read in full. Nothing here was copied from an operator brochure, a press release or another comparison site.

What gets a cruise onto this site, and what keeps it offEvery cruise on this site is a real listing you can book today, with the rating and review count shown on its live booking page. US-dollar from-prices come from each tour's own booking listing. Twelve tours publish one. Well-known operators with no verified listing on the two platforms this site compares, including Le Calife and private charters sold only by phone, were left out rather than filled in with something plausible.
Ratings and review countsThe listings' own published figures, copied exactly, and cross-checked across independent research passes before they went on the page. The published ratings run from 3.5 to 4.7, on review counts from 175 to 8,707. Nothing is averaged across listings, and the same underlying product sometimes carries a different rating on a separate listing, a real gap the research documented rather than smoothed over.
PricesAll twelve listings carry a US-dollar from-price read from the listing data: $67.37 for Le Capitaine Fracasse, $68.53 for the Paris en Scène bistronomic dinner, $68.75 for the Trattoria en Seine Italian cruise, $84.62 for the Bateaux Parisiens Bistro Parisien dinner, $91.55 for Le Diamant Bleu's singer and DJ cruise, $100.82 for the Bateaux Parisiens gourmet dinner, $101.15 for the Paris Seine early-evening cruise, $111.29 for La Marina de Paris, $132.11 for the Compagnie des Bateaux Mouches dinner, $134 for the Bateaux Parisiens live-music cruise, $192.26 for Maxim's de Paris, and $277.47 for Ducasse sur Seine. A from-price is a floor that moves with the date, the option and the group size.
Cancellation and boardingNone of the twelve tours on this site has a verified free-cancellation policy on file, so every card points to the specific listing's own terms rather than assuming a sitewide policy. Boarding is stated per cruise: four named piers are confirmed in the research, Port de la Bourdonnais, Port de Javel Haut, Port de la Conference and Port Solferino, and the rest name the exact dock only on the booking confirmation.
Durations and what is includedStraight from each listing's own fields, and left blank where the listing states nothing. Durations run from 1 hour 45 minutes on the shortest bistronomic sailing to about 3 hours on the longest gourmet dinner, given as published; three of the twelve do not state a length at all. A meal is included on every one of the twelve cruises, and four of them add live entertainment, a singer, a DJ set, live jazz or live piano and violin, noted per cruise rather than assumed across the board.
The river, the season, the boarding points and the rulesNot from the cruise listings. Boarding-point locations come from public mapping data; the Seine navigation and water-level closure facts from VNF (Voies Navigables de France) and the City of Paris; the scope of the EU Package Travel Directive from the European Commission; the accessibility note on Bateaux Parisiens and the dress-code variation from operator-facing research. Verification dates are kept on file rather than stamped on the page.

Where the money comes from

No dinner is served from this website. It takes no bookings, reserves no tables and processes no cards. Payment, vouchers, boarding instructions and cancellations all live on the operator's live listing, and that is where your agreement sits as well.

What funds the work is the links. Book through one and the booking platform passes back part of its own cut from the operator; nothing is added to what you pay. Arrive at the same listing another way and the price on screen is identical. The disclosure page sets out the mechanics in full, including which platforms are involved.

Using the links is optional. Every cruise here can be booked directly with the operator or through the platform selling it, and the comparisons, the FAQ and the guides remain equally useful. Noticed a mistake, or a Seine dinner worth adding? The contact page explains what helps most.

Choose by the evening you want

A one-hour-45-minute bistronomic dinner, a three-course cruise with live music from Bateaux Parisiens or Bateaux Mouches, an Italian trattoria night on the water, a Maxim's sailing, or a Ducasse sur Seine evening with its chocolate bar: three categories, twelve real listings, every figure read twice.
